Home Sweet Home

If "home is where the heart is", then I have homes all across the country. But, I think I have found a safe haven, a place of rest for my heart, a good home. The time over the past year has been intense and (in the long run) a complete joy! I spend oodles of time with the nephs...

I am also able to spend times with my BFF Rachel (who just HAD to move further away as I moved closer... now that I think of it, that is kinda suspicious!) We had a chance to bake together a short time back. This is what we were shooting for...

Everybody keeps asking if it's weird being in the house. Weird being alone. Bothered by the odd noises. And everytime, I give the same answer... NO! The first night, I slept in the empty house in a sleeping bag and it felt amazing. Everytime I look around, I see it as my home. Not a building, not a project, not a temporary situation. But permanent. Safe. Mine. It's my home.

There's plenty of room, so if anybody feels like vacationing in SE MN, come on over!
